The Vice-Chancellor of The University of Bamenda announces the availability of online application forms for the 2024/2025 academic year. Prospective students can apply for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in the following Faculties/Schools: https://www.ubastudent.online/admission.

These are the academic programs available:

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS:

  • Faculty of Arts (FA)
  • Faculty of Education (FED)
  • Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences (FEMS)
  • Faculty of Law and Political Science (FLPS)
  • Faculty of Science (FS)

MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMS:

  • National Higher Polytechnic Institute (NAHPI)
  • Higher Institute of Commerce and Management (HICM)
  • College of Technology (COLTECH)
  • Higher Institute of Transport and Logistics (HITL)
  • Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS)
  • Faculty of Arts (FA)
  • Faculty of Education (FED)
  • Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences (FEMS)
  • Faculty of Science (FS)
  • Faculty of Law and Political Science (FLPS)

Minimum Entry Requirements

Undergraduate:

Applicants to any of the listed Faculties/Schools must possess the following:

The following academic credentials are required for admission:

Undergraduate:

  • A General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O/Level) in at least four subjects, including English Language, or a Probatoire diploma. (Applicants without a passing grade in English Language at the O/Level or Probatoire may take a University-administered English Language Proficiency test.) However, a passing grade in O/Level English Language is required prior to graduation.
  • A General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A/Level) in at least two subjects, earned in a single sitting, or a Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent.

Note: For the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, applicants must have a passing grade in O/Level Mathematics. Admitted students without this may enroll in a remedial Mathematics course during their first semester, and must pass O/Level Mathematics before graduating.

Postgraduate:

  • Applicants to Master’s degree programs must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant field of study.
